The consolidation of the art world has led to significant changes for independent writers, artists, dealers, and publications, including Esopus, which just published artist Neil Goldberg’s book Other People’s Prescriptions under its new “Esopus Books” imprint. Please join Goldberg, critic Brian Boucher, and Esopus editor Tod Lippy as they address the evolving landscape of arts journalism and publishing and discuss what these changes mean not only for their own practice but for the art world at large. The event runs from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Cristin Tierney Gallery (219 Bowery, Floor 2, NYC). RSVP required.
