Esopus celebrated the release of its 24th issue in the New York Public Library's stunning Sue and Edgar Wachenheim III Trustees Room on Tuesday, May 9th, from 6 to 8pm. The event’s 200-plus attendees included contributors to the issue such as Ann Goldstein, Clayton Patterson, and Michelle Elllgott, as well as a number of past contributors, trustees, subscribers, and colleagues. The evening not only served to launch the issue; it also celebrated the Esopus Foundation’s recently established partnership with the NYPL, which includes “Public Access”—a new series in Esopus whose inaugural installment appears in the 24th issue—as well as a range of events that will take place at NYPL branches throughout the city over the course of 2017. VIEW MORE PHOTOS
