Artist’s Project: Frank Benson

A removable 15" x 27" poster related to Benson’s permanent installation in New York’s Chelsea gallery district—a flag recalibrated by the artist to appear to be perpetually waving in the wind.

Currently based in New York City, Frank Benson is a contemporary artist who received an MFA from UCLA and a BFA from Maryland Institute, College of Art. His sculptures and photography have been featured in numerous group shows, including the exhibitions at the Met Breuer, New York; the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; the New Museum, New York; and the Hayward Gallery, London. He has had solo shows at the Miami Art Museum and Taxter & Spengemann Gallery in New York. In 2019, Benson's work was the subject of a survey at the Astrup Fearnley Museet, Oslo.
